I have two loves in my life - my
husband and my garden. Both require
attention and nurturing before I can
reap the benefits of day-to-day
pleasure. For these loves, I get only the
best. Acquiring Tom’s NightOrbs for
the garden was a given as soon as I
saw them displayed in his own garden!
When Steve, my husband looks out the
back deck, he loves to say, “The Orbs
have landed!” He derives a child-like
pleasure just from looking at them. And
for very good reason, at night they
are indeed quite magical to look at. |

Tucked among the groundcover ivy, when lit, they resemble Van Gogh’s
"Starry Starry Night". During the day, they add a splash of color and splendor like a Monet "Water Lily" backdrop.
In our meditative Zen garden, the brightly glowing yellow and orange Orbs highlight the lushly cascading red honeysuckle vines on a back fence while standing guard on either side of a magnificent, imperial-looking bamboo bush. They also pay glowing homage to the 2-foot tall smiling statue of Buddha keeping him company through the night, whilst fluorescent green fire-flies bob up and down in delight of their new wonderland.

As many years as I have gardened - Hawaii, Pennsylvania, Switzerland, and on the Marmaris in Istanbul, I have never derived
so much pride, pleasure or joy as I do now
from these truly magnificent NightOrbs that
I prefer to call my very own interplanetary
galaxy of stars!
